About the owner
We obtained our first contractors license in 1991 in the heating and air conditioning industry, and received our plumbing license in 1993. John Grisler the founder of the company graduated from (UTI) Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix Arizona in February 1986.
At UTI he studied Air Conditioning, Heating, Solar, Electrical and Commercial Refrigeration. That training was instrumental in his ability to provide service to residential and commercial heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment, as well as commercial refrigeration systems such as walk in refrigeration units, Freezers, Commercial Ice Machines, reach ins, meat coolers and many other refrigeration applications. In 2003, John Grisler obtained a United States Patent on his triple pass refrigeration system, which is something that is no easy task to do, considering how many refrigeration designs are out there today. That patent is a symbol of his in depth knowledge of the modern refrigeration systems and the products that most air conditioning and refrigeration system are designed after. That knowledge is your security in knowing that our experience is vast and your installation and your repair will be in good hands! You can read more about his sit and cool refrigeration system on that page.
Although today we primarily specialize in residential and light commercial HVAC installation and repair applications, we still offer service in the commercial refrigeration field to our customers. We also do plumbing, including gas lines, water lines, water heaters, and more. Whether you have an old house, a new house, a restaurant, a light commercial building or a shopping mall, there's really not many pieces of equipment that we can't handle. If you need help with equipment, no matter what type, just give us a call and if we handle it we will. Call GRISLER Air Conditioning and Heating today and get the type of personal service and quality experience that you have been looking for!

Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the average life of an HVAC unit?
The majority of HVAC units can last 15 to 20 years assuming they are properly maintained. You may need an occasional repair along the way, but Grisler Air Conditioning & Heating can usually catch and fix small problems during annual checks.
What is the cost of a new system?
This will depend on the size of your home and the type of unit, but you can expect to pay around $2,500 on average. Keep in mind that if money is an issue, we can help you explore different financing options.
What is SEER?
This refers to the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER). Every air conditioner has one. The higher the number, the more efficient your unit is. The current industry minimum is 13 for new air conditioners, but some cutting edge equipment can reach a SEER as high as 21. While a unit with a higher SEER may have a higher initial cost, the lower monthly operating costs would save you money over the life of the system.
Should I set my thermostat fan switch to "auto" or "on" when running my AC?
In the interest of keeping cooling costs down, you should use the “auto” setting so that the fan runs only when needed to maintain the set temperature. However, if you prefer a more consistent temperature, then the “on” setting will ensure uninterrupted airflow. This can be beneficial if you have asthma or allergies because the air would be constantly filtered as it flows through the system.
How often does my HVAC unit need maintenance?
On average, you should have your HVAC system serviced once a year as part of spring cleaning. Routine preventative service can help extend the life of your unit.
